XSC Rifle / Pistol ranges are for Members Only
The U.S. House just passed H.R. 8 and H.R. 1112. These are Pelosi-Bloomberg gun control bills designed to score political points, and they won’t have any impact on crime or criminals, don’t address America’s broken mental health system and don’t address the underlying causes of violence.
Legislation has been introduced in the Illinois state Senate for a comprehensive ban on many types of firearms and accessories. Please contact your state Senator and urge them to OPPOSE SB 107. The link provided below should take you to the NRA-ILA website to easily send email to your state senator.
Some examples to be banned include:
Any semi-automatic rifle or handgun that can accept a detachable magazine greater than ten rounds in capacity and has one or more features, such as a protruding grip for the support hand; a folding, telescoping, or thumbhole stock; a handguard; or a muzzle brake or compensator.
Any semi-automatic shotgun that has one or more feature such as the ability to accept a detachable magazine; a folding, telescoping, or thumbhole stock; or a protruding grip for the support hand.
Any fixed magazine semi-automatic rifles or handguns greater than ten rounds in capacity and fixed magazine semi-automatic shotguns greater than five rounds in capacity.
Any shotgun with a revolving cylinder.
Any part or accessory that would configure a firearm as above.
Today, (01/17/2019) Governor J.B. Pritzker signed Senate Bill 337 into law. Passed by the previous legislature in 2018, SB 337 will establish a firearm registry and shut down your local gun stores with government red tape.
Folks who do not bother to vote or voted for Pritzker or any other Illinois legislative gun control zealot, helped to make this happen. The people of Illinois just lost 2nd Amendment rights.

Dear Timothy Stoll,
Thank you for contacting me concerning gun control legislation being considered in the Illinois General Assembly. I appreciate your advocacy on behalf of law-abiding gun owners and sportsmen.
You can count on me to protect your Second Amendment rights. I will continue to stand up to the liberal Chicago politicians and fight to defend our constitutional rights.
Chicago politicians are wasting no time and once again pushing their radical, gun-grabbing agenda in Springfield.
I am a strong supporter of our constitutional rights. I will vote against these anti-Second Amendment bills and I am urging my colleagues in the General Assembly to do the same. Law-abiding gun owners should not have their rights trampled upon by politicians looking to score points for a leftist agenda.
Very truly yours,
79th District State Representative
370 E. Court St.
Kankakee, IL 60901

Illinois state Senator Michael Hastings (D-19) has introduced legislation to create a gun seizure regime that would even apply to those who have simply failed to renew their (FOID) firearm license. Tells me we as gun owners need to vote in every election
In every major election since 1992, Vote Smart has measured all candidates' positions on major issues, including gun control.
Over the past eight years, support for gun control measures among federal candidates nationally has steadily increased to just over the 50% mark.
In the 2010 congressional elections, 35.6% of all candidates supported gun control legislation. That percentage rose to 54.5% of candidates supporting gun control legislation in the 2018 congressional elections.
Democratic candidates' support for gun control legislation has risen substantially, now approaching the 100% mark (69.1% in 2010 to 96.0% in 2018). In the same time period, Republican candidates' opposition has remained virtually the same, with only 8.6% in 2010 to 9.2% in 2018 supporting such legislation.
